Fairtrade Fortnight

28th Feb 2017

Children in primary 4 were learning about fairtrade today. They were able to discuss why it is important that farmers are paid a fair price for their produce. Children are able to access their rights when their families are paid fairly for their hard work. At home, families can afford running water and electricity. In the community, schools are improved and children have greater access to information and knowledge. Please buy fairtrade food and support farmers across the globe!

We would like to thank Mrs Carragher for organising fairtrade stickers, taste test food, videos, power points, lesson resources and competitions for all the boys and girls.
