Africa Day 2022

We enjoyed all the events we took part in for Africa Day this year.

We read the story of Handa’s Surprise as part of our food topic. We became familiar with fruits and animals native to Africa and compared the setting of the story with Belfast.

On Africa Day, we loved drumming with Wilson, singing an African song and everything at the Fun Zone. Some of our parents came to help with braiding and face painting and it was great to see them too!
