Class Book Writing Challenge!

Back in October and November we discussed our favourite authors. We made fact-files on the lives of Roald Dahl and other famous authors and had lots of fun researching these creative writers.

Mr McVeigh suggested that we could write our own books! Not just a story or a short piece of work but… A WHOLE BOOK! Lots of us agreed to take part in the book writing challenge! We had 5 weeks to write our own book at home based upon a subject of our choice and submit by Tuesday 15^th December.

We also came to an agreement as to what we would like for a winner’s prize… A CHOCOLATE CAKE!

So the day of judgment has arrived; Friday 18^th December.

The winning author is….

LEAH DOLAGHAN – TAYLOR!

Leah wrote a series of short stories. Her use of grammar, punctuation, writing skill, style and humour have gained her that treasured chocolatey feast!
