Holy Rosary marks Rugby World Cup
Holy Rosary is constantly looking for new ways and means to raise the profile of sport and to generate interest in sport participation, therefore the Rugby World Cup is a great way to start! Here are some of the things you may notice during the event:
*A P2-P7 Homework competition on Thursday 17th September - the winners of the competition will receive a rugby trophy prize.
*The P5/P6/P7 children participating in a tag rugby session on Friday 18th September to celebrate the start of the Rugby World Cup.
*The P6 children taking part in a 6 week Belfast Telegraph cross-curricular project.
*Stephen Phillips from Harlequins Rugby Club visiting the P4-7 classes (see photos)
*There is currently a rugby display board in the lobby outside Mr Mc Allister’s office.
We are enjoying the excitement that will be generated during the Rugby World Cup season!
