Lift - the Bernoulli effect
29th Nov 2017
We have been learning about Daniel Bernoulli this week. He was a mathematician who contributed to the design of the aerofoil wings that our airplanes use today. We tested his theory about the curved design of the surface of an aeroplane wing and air pressure by blowing down onto a piece of paper. To our surprise, the paper lifted into the air! Have a look at our photos to see what we discovered.
