Mesolithic Dwellings
27th Oct 2017
In Primary 5 Art and Design lessons this week, the children created Mesolithic dwellings. They used clay to do this because houses in these times were made from stones and mud. The children experimented with different ways of building up the walls: some children coiled their clay in one long spiral before blending the coils together; other children made their clay into stone-like bricks and built their walls with those. Whatever method they used, the children's finished houses look very impressive. Well done everyone!
