P1 visit to Ormeau Library

A big thank you to Alison and everyone at Ormeau Library for welcoming our P1 classes for a visit today. 
We found out that the library has lots of different types of books: story, fact, board, listen along and books in other languages.

Alison read us a few of her favourite stories and they were really funny. We also joined in with a few action rhymes. She gave us some Book Trust stickers and other goodies to take home.

Some of us had been to a public library before and for some of us had not. Hopefully we will all be back soon - and we can talk to the staff there about becoming a member and borrowing some of those lovely books for free!
