P5 flight workshop

P5 met Peter and Howard from Sentinus and Bombardier for a fabulous Flight Workshop!

The children worked in groups to make an aeroplane wing, a helicopter and a rocket. They learnt about gravity, friction, air pressure, lift and drag through their group tasks.

We had such an fun and educational day. I’m sure we have found some budding engineers!
