P5 using art to create life size birds!

This term P5 are investigating all things flight related. We began looking at birds of the world. The children choose the most appropriate measuring tool to measure, draw and cut out life size birds: the albatross, flamingo, peacock, hummingbird, kingfisher and macaw. As you can see from our photos, the birds range from 5cm in length to 3.5m! Have a look at our work in progress... more photos to come!
