The Digestive System

As part of our World Around Us topic, Myself, the children in Miss Devenney's class have been looking at the different organs in the body.  This week we have been learning about the organs of the digestive system.  The children rolled up their sleeves and worked in teams to make their very own digestive systems using bottles, balloons, funnels and ziplock bags as the mouth, oesophagus, stomach and the intestines.  Our experiment got very messy but everyone had lots of fun while learning about the processes of digestion.
