Trocaire cheque presentation

The school welcomed Gemma McCourt from Trocaire, the aid organisation, to accept a donation cheque.

Trocaire's Lenten campaign this year focused on Climate Change and, as always, Holy Rosary PS were eager to help.

There were lots of different fundraising initiatives at whole school and class level, including the infamous Easter bonnet parade.

Gemma shared information at assemblies for the junior and senior school about the plights of countries receiving aid, as well as Trocaire's work and plans for donated money.

Following all our hard work with fundraising we were able to present a cheque for a massive £1300 and we were grateful to Gemma for sharing this information about Trocaire with us.
