We had fun making pancakes in P1

On Shrove Tuesday we made Pancakes in P1.

Mrs Devlin's class were very adventurous and followed Jamie Oliver's pancakes. They were lovely and fluffy and we even added in some chocolate chips.

Afterwards we got to eat them. We could choose from lemon juice, sugar or chocolate sauce. They were really yummy.

We really enjoyed Shrove Tuesday in school as we also learned about the runaway pancake and drew illustrations of the story and used our key words to write a sentence.

We have also been learning about Lent and how important it is to care for others during Lent. We are using our Stepping Stones in Lent to help us do something kind everyday. We have put them in our class window for you to have a look at and encourage us.
