World of Owls.

Girls and boys in P5 and P3 were extremely lucky today as they got a visit from Mike from World of Owls. He brought two of his owls, Bowie and Harley and talked to the children about birds of prey and flight as they have been exploring these as part of their topic this half term. Mike and his birds were excellent and we learnt a lot about owls; in particular that owls’ ears are beside their eyes and not all owls come out at night!
